The Beginning
It is in the second post-war period that the SILPAR shoe-making machine company began its operations in Vigevano. This is how the first milling machines for shoe processing were born.

The footwear market, particularly the national market, is becoming increasingly demanding, so much so that the footwear industry is beginning to feel the need for machines with particular characteristics.
The First Patent
It is due to the mechanical skill of Mr. Felice Rossi the study, the development, the realization, and then the patent, of a new and innovative milling machine for shoes.
Leadership
The innovative milling machine, simple to use and above all very fast, has great success also in the foreign footwear industry and machines are in fact produced for the whole world.
Strategy
This first milling machine is then joined by other models of footwear processing machines, which are also marketed worldwide.
Expansion
Thus was born the need for new work spaces, so much so that in 1982 a new building was built. Today, successfully managed by his son Giorgio, the headquarters of Silpar covers an area of approximately 1,800 square meters.
Network Society
Silpar, consolidating its activity and expanding its range of operations to the leather goods sector, immediately succeeded in gaining the trust of the world's biggest fashion brands.
Our Present Day Production
With a purely foreign market, more than 60 stores and retailers worldwide, and with a catalog that boasts more than 50 different machine models, Silpar covers almost all of the production needs in the footwear and leather goods sector.
